I-Turtle

7859810ba6c7_main200The I-Turtle is for 8 years old and up, but we have had a ton a fun with it here. You can place the turtle in front of a speaker or plug in right into your iPod. Once you do that, the turtle will start swaying its head from side to side, taping its foot, and moving its shell up and down. The LEDs on the turles shell also flash in different patterns. All of this is done with the beats of the music you are listening too. My kids absolutely love this. Any time we turn music on they run and get the turtle, so they can watch him.  It is very cute.  Now, let me warn you, don’t mess with the turtle’s tale.  The LEDs all turn red, and the turtle does not like it at all.  Also, the LEDs can also turn red if it doesn’t like your music.  Now, if it does like your music, it’ll even play a few of its own riffs!  My kids love that and start dancing to its riffs.

We’ve put it in our kitchen below our counter radio, in front of the tv, and even plugged it into our iPod.  It works great and keeps the kids entertained.  Who can ask for more?

Limu The Blue Turtle and His Hawaiian Garden

Limu The Blue Turtle and His Hawaiian Garden is a book my inlaws brought back from Hawaii while they were there on vacation. I guess that this book is part of a series. However, this is the first one we have. The first thing that grabs your attention with this book is the beautiful illustrations. I even like to look through this book to look at the pictures! As you can tell from the title of this book, this book take splace in the ocean by the underwater gardens.  Limu is a blue turtle who is given a gift from his friend Jonah (a whale).  This gift, a seaweed tree, started creating problems, so he went to the Faraway-Forest where it came from.  On the way, he met Coral, a pink turtle.  The story is about how they get the seaweed tree back home and fixed their garden.  It’s a cute story with great pictures and a winner in this house!

Turtle Wax ICE™ Total Interior Care

I swear my husband has the most disgusting vehicle ever.  I have often talked about what crappy gas mileage we get with the Jeep, but I have never talked about how gross and filthy it gets.  It is nasty.  Bill works a lot of time on job sites.  Now, this can mean everything from buildings already done to those that are just breaking ground.  He also carries a lot of tools and supplies for the guys in there.  Needless to say, his Jeep has a layer of dirt in there that I didn’t think was possible to clean off.

Turtle Wax ICE™ Total Interior Care came to the rescue.  I know when I think of Turtle Wax, I always think of the great job they do on the outside of our vehicles.  However, they do as great of a job on the inside too.  You know that layer of muck I was just talking about — gone.  It didn’t take much elbow grease either!  Our 5 year old Jeep looks almost brand new on the inside with its cleanliness.  I am impressed and I don’t mind sitting in the Jeep now.

It doesn’t get easier than this to use either:

· It is best to apply wax on surfaces between 55 and 85 degrees

· Apply the wax to soft, cotton, damp cloth and apply to the surface to be protected. Use a separate cloth to remove the wax

· Wax should be reapplied when water beading diminishes

The other cool thing with the Turtle Wax ICE™ Total Interior Care is that it has so many uses besides your car.  First, try this on your patio furniture.  It’ll keep the dust, dirt, and grime off it, and keep it looking like you just bought it.  My favorite — use it in the bathroom.  You can say goodbye to soap scum.  In the kitchen, you can use it to remove stains from appliances and other kitchen surfaces (like my old crappy countertops).   It will also clean stains on carpets and leather furniture!

There are so many uses for Turtle Wax ICE™ Total Interior Care that it is definitely worth every cent you pay for it.  You’ll be finding yourself running out to get more quite quickly when you see how good it works.
