Weiman Products: Perfect Planet Floor Cleaner and Floor Polish

One of the many things we need to do before we have family over for the holidays is clean.  Perfect Planet tries to make our lives with their new product called Squeeze and Clean Floor Cleaner.  It is as easy to use as the title implies.  You literally just need to squeeze the bottle onto your floor, mop with a damp mop, and let dry.  That’s it!  The best part is that this floor cleaner is ecofriendly.  It is made without using harsh petrochemicals, ammonia, VOC’s and phosphates.  You can use it on finished hardwood, linoleum, vinyl, laminate, ceramic tile, marble, grouted tile and non-porous hard surface flooring.

Perfect Planet’s Squeeze & Shine Floor Polish works in conjunction with the Floor Cleaner.  Using it can’t be easier.  Again, all you need to do squeeze it on your floor, spread with a damp mop, and wait 15 minutes for it to dry.  You will definitely notice a difference right after your first use. It will also make your floor more resistant to dirt, scuff marks, and scratches.  It contains no heavy metals, ammonia or formaldehyde.

If you read my post before this one, I have also reviewed some additional Weiman products you should also try out.  Now, I know that you would love to have some of these products in your home, so I have arranged a prize pack valued at $100 for one of my lucky readers.  In this prize pack, there will be:

Countdown To Christmas: Tikatok

Do you kids write and draw lots of stories? Would you love to make them into keepsake? If so, Tikatok.com is a website you will want to try out. With Tikatok, you are able to take your kids stories and drawings and make them into either hard cover or soft cover books! They even have title pages and dedication pages! You can keep them yourself or give them away as gifts! Registration on the site is free, and you don’t get charged until you order your book. You can even buy gift certificates for the author or artist in your life.

It is pretty easy to set up your book too.  Kids can definitely do it themselves.  As for the illustrations, you can either scan them and upload them yourself, or mail them in for them to to do.  If they don’t know what to make their book about, there are suggestions they can use.  You just put in what you like, and it will give you several different ways you can talk about that topic.  Your kids truly do have control of every aspect of their book.

If you’d like a unique original gift for someone, this is definitely it! Kids like nothing more than to express their creative side, and this allows them to do so and show everyone.

Countdown To Christmas: The Kids Bookstore

Do you remember all those classic books we had as a kid?  Well, The Kids Bookstore has taken these loved books and made them even better!  How do you ask?  They take the book of your choice (and they have a ton to pick from and most of the classics that I remember.  There is even The Night Before Christmas.) and make it into a hardcover book.  They then take the first page of the book (even before the title page) and put a printed dedication.  This includes the child’s name, a meaningful blurb that you write to the child, and a photo that you give them.  If you are lucky (depending on the book), this dedication may even show up on the inner back of the hardcover.  This definitely gives the book a personal touch.  If you have more than one child, this should also help you to keep track of whose book it really is.

For the kid who has everything, a personalized book is something they most likely don’t have.  I know my daughter would love to see her picture in a book.  The books offered cover a wide range of ages — from 2 to 9.  You can find everything from the classics like Wind In The Willows and Alice in Wonderland to newer titles like Pinkalicious.  Reading is a gift we must pass onto our children, and this is a great way to pass that on.

Countdown To Chistmas: The Gift Guide

I have already started reviewing products that I thought would make great presents for Christmas.  However, from here on out, I am going to title them Countdown To Christmas.  These will be must have ideas for Christmas presents.  I am hoping to find things that your kids will love, things that you will love, and things that the person you never know what to get will love!

If you are a PR firm reading this, send me your pitch.  I can’t guarantee I’ll list it.  However, if you send a sample, you will more likely get listed since my kids and I will be able to try out your product.  If you are one of my wonderful readers, let me know if you have any cool things I should review.  I am always looking for ideas, and I have no idea what we are getting the kids for Christmas!

Pooh’s Early-To-Bed and Early-to-Rise Hum

Don’t let the really long title of Pooh’s Early-To-Bed and Early-to-Rise Hum scare you away.  This short little book is a cute poem about Winnie the Pooh.  It is made of cardboard, so your little ones really can’t wreck it.  You get to see how Pooh spends his day. It is short, so even little attention span children will enjoy it (and easily memorize it). Each page has a picture and part of the rhyming poem. This is definitely a cute little book for the little ones in your life.
