The WisePack™ Travel Backpack Purse

This will also be cross posted over at Lisa’s Travels.

6One of the things that truly saved our Disney trip was my The WisePack™ Travel Backpack Purse. Nothing is worse than being on vacation and having a sore arm/shoulder/neck from carrying your purse (or in my case, a diaper bag).  The great thing about this is that both men and women can wear it.  With a little adjustment of the arm straps, Bill and I used this throughout our entire trip.  We were able to pack snacks for the kids and a change of clothes for them too.  I was also able to pack my wallet safely and my cell phone too.

Now, for those of you who don’t know, Madison ended up in the hospital for three days when we were there.  This bag allowed us to haul things back and forth from the resort to the hospital with ease.  We were able to pack Will’s diaper needs plus things for him to do while we were there.  When we actually got to go to Disney, it was so nice not to have a sore shoulder yet have everything we needed.  This also fit quite nicely under the stroller when needed also!

62912Here are some of the great things about this backpack:

  • A small Quick Trip Travel Bag with an adjustable cord that can be worn separately to carry small items or your plane tickets
  • A travel pouch for make-up, jewelry, ipod, etc. that handily clips inside
  • LED light for clipping inside or outside, making it easy to find items in dark places
  • A security pocket rests against your back when the WisePack™ is on, providing a safe place for money, plane tickets, passports, and other important items.
  • Lightweight and durable.
  • Two zipper pulls open the main section wide for loading and unloading.
  • Divided into two pockets, one with a Velcro closure, the interior is approximately 14×10x4.
  • The mesh pockets on each side of the backpack purse’s interior are perfect for water bottles, glasses cases, small umbrellas, pens and more and the shallow pocket inside the WisePack™ travel backpack purse is the perfect size to hold business cards.
  • On the exterior of the travel bag is a small pocket with a clip, eliminating wasted time digging for missing keys.

This is a product I will definitely be using again and again and again.  It makes getting through airport security a breeze, fits under a stroller or plane seat, and it is just comfortable to wear!  I have several conferences I’ll be going to this year, and this will definitely be on my back for each one of them!

Countdown To Christmas: Luggage Charms

Do you travel a lot? In this last year, I have started traveling quite a bit. I learned that my black luggage my hide dirt and wear and tear well. However, I have also learned that everyone has black luggage, and it all looks exactly the same when it is coming off the baggage claim thing at the airport. I always thought I was being tricky by tying a neon colored ribbon on my luggage. However, a lot of people are doing that now, so that has quit working. I hate to pass along this great idea, since then you all will buy them and ruin it for me. However, Luggage Charms are such a great idea that I have to pass it on. Luggage Charms are super easy to use. Just tie them (triple knot) to anything that you don’t want to lose when you are flying such as your baggage, stroller, car seats, etc. These charms come with brightly colored ribbons and tags. On the front of the tag, you are able to get whatever design you want. On the back of the tag, you are able write or affix a label with all of your identifying information in case your luggage ends up separated from you (I hate when my luggage ends up on a better trip than me). They won’t look like anything anyone else has on their bag, so you don’t have to worry about anyone accidentally grabbing you luggage. You also won’t be standing at the baggage area trying to figure out if that’s really your suitcase or not! Even if you aren’t sitting at the airport, you can also use these to show who’s suitcase belongs to who. Since the ones I have each have different ribbon colors, it was easy to know whose suitcase was whose suitcase on your visit to Green Bay this weekend.

If you do any traveling at all, I highly recommend these luggage charms. They are priced right, are fashionable, and they make your life that much easier.  Now, I know you want a set of your own (each set has 4 charms in it), so I have arranged to give away 5 SETS of these, and you’ll get to pick what initial you want on each charm!  How awesome is that?  Here’s what you need to do:

Countdown To Christmas: Groovy Girls Dolls

Who are the these cute dolls sitting on my couch?  These are the Groovy Girl Dolls.  They are a huge hit in my house, and they will be in yours too!  I personally like dolls that look like a little girl.  I don’t need my daughter to grow up any faster than she already is.  The Groovy Girls Dolls fits that bill and are super cute.  I love that my son (who is one) can also play with them.  There is nothing on them that he can rip off and stick in his mouth (for example, a lot of dolls and stuffed animals have eyes that I have to worry about).  These dolls are super soft, so if your kids whack each other with them, no worries.  They are also small enough to be easily put into a suitcase for a trip to Grandma’s house.  The Groovy Girl Dolls come in several different nationalities too, so your child will easily find one that she can relate too.  The Groovy Girl Pets are so soft that I wouldn’t mind sleeping with them.  I also think they are super cute too. My son loves to walk around hugging them.

As you can see from the picture above, each doll and pet comes with a tag on them.  Now, on the tag, there is a code you can use on the Groovy Girls website, so the fun doesn’t end with just the doll:

As an RSVP member, your child will:

* Receive access to exclusive online RSVP Parties and games
* Use the Creation Station to create hundreds of new outfits
* Get extra Groovy Girls Tunes to play – and download!
* Be able to earn Party Points – and receive digital rewards!

With an RSVP Doll, she’ll also get:

* Her Doll’s outfit added to her Closet, Creation Station and Dance Floor,
* Additional items added to her Creation Station per doll
* A song from her Doll added to her Mod Pod and Dance Floor,
* And, she can chat with her Doll on her Groovy Girls Laptop-what fun!

With an RSVP Pet, your child can also:

* Call her pet to her Mod Pod any time,
* Play with her pet and show off super-cool tricks,
* Mix and match a t-shirt from her pet in the Creation Station – and wear it wherever!

I love that everything related to these dolls is all about promoting age-appropriate values and attitudes. Moms, there is even a place on the site for you too! Madison has had a blast with these, and I know other girls will too (though my one year old boy loves them just as much). The ages for this are 4-9, and these will make any little girl happy come Christmas or her birthday.
