Clorox Disinfecting Wipes Review and Giveaway

This giveaway is now over. The winners are Emily, Margaret Hall, Kelly F, Melissa Barnes, Mary D, Eloise, Heather, Charlene, Sue, and Jessica! Congrats!

Did you know that Clorox Disinfecting Wipes redesigned their packaging?  I love it!  You now have a container that you can proudly leave on your counter.  The packaging comes in eight different designs.  However, I have to admit that what excited me most about these changes is the single sheet dispensing system.  With the old design, I could never just get one sheet.  Now, you just open, pull, wipe, and you are done. Now, the wipes still work the same and are just as effective which is great when you have kids.  We recently got to use them in Will’s room.  In case you don’t know, Will is 21 months old.  He went down for a nap and woke up several hours later.  What we didn’t know is that he had taken his diaper off.  No, his room wasn’t covered in pee.  Actually, it was much much worse.  Yes, he had pooped.  It was all over his sheets, him, and his crib.  I handed Will off to my husband and got to work cleaning up his crib.  Now, soap and water really wasn’t going to do the trick for me.  Instead, I was able to use these wipes since they kill 99.9% of germs.  Clean up couldn’t have been easier. Now, the majority of you don’t have fun cleanups like that I realize.  However, I do use my Clorox Wipes all over the house.  They are especially helpful in the kitchen and in the bathroom.  Since I know you would all love this in your house, I have arranged to send 10 lucky winners a coupon to get one of these yourself!  Here’s what you need to do:

CLR Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaner Review and Giveaway

This giveaway is over. Congrats to Kimberly and Janet F. I will be contacting your shortly!

I am quite use to living with hard water.  When I lived in Wisconsin and when we lived in Aurora, we had hard water.  Hard water is tough on a lot of things.  However, one of the places you can really see it is in your bathroom.  You will often find you have what looks like soap scum that you just can’t remove.  That is where CLR Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaner comes into play.  When we lived in Aurora, we used this cleaner every time we cleaned the tub.  It was the only thing that take the “scum” we had off.  I can only highly recommend it.  Now that we live in a suburb of Chicago, we don’t have that problem quite as much.  However, over the last couple of months, I have noticed that something is definitely going with our water.  When you get water out of the tap, it is very cloudy (not sure what is causing that).  I have also noticed that we are starting to get that “soap scum” again.  I decided to pull out our go to fix:  CLR Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaner.  Guess what?  It got rid of the mess in the tub yet again.  I love this product, and I can only give it high reviews.  Best of all, CLR has earned the EPA’s Designed for the Environment designation, so you know that it contains no phosphates, ammonia or bleach.

That being said,  I am giving away two Cleaning Bucket prize packs!  The Bucket will include CLR’s entire line of products and various tools to help you clean your house.  Here’s what you need to do:

1. Leave a comment on this post. Check out their products here and tell me which ones you need in your house.

Countdown To Christmas: WettGiggles

Want your kids to enjoy bath time even more? You have to get WettGiggles soap then.  I can honestly say that this has to be the cutest soap I have ever seen.  WettGiggles is actually a 3 in one product.  First, you have the soap.  It is made with natural glycerin, essentials oils, and shea butter.  The soap doesn’t dry out your skin and is actually quite nice to use.  Then there is the toy on top.  Lastly, in the soap there is a manicure brush to help get at the kid’s fingernails.  There are nine unique characters, and each has its own scent.  For example, Cupid, the pup, is coconut banana scented, and Juliet, the duck, is orange scented.  The scents also aren’t knock you over overwhelming, so they can be used in a house where heavy scents are an issue.  These also make an excellent talking point when you put them by your sink!  Everyone will ask where you got them from!

This definitely falls under a unique Christmas gift that every child will enjoy (and some parents too!).

Countdown To Christmas: Anita’s Sweet Treat Crafts

Don’t these look yummy?  I know my kids wanted to try and eat them before I explained they were soap!  Yes, these are soap!  I know that they look so good you want to eat them.  I could not believe how much they really do look like real food.  They are more than just pretty too.  They are functional.  You can and should use this as soap, because it is really good for your skin.  I love that these are hand made and made here in the US.  The prices are good for this unique gift too.

If you want to surprise your guests, you definitely need to put these yummy soaps out for them to use.  There are several more designs over at Anita’s Etsy Store.  Each soap looks better than the last, and they all look good enough to eat.   For a unique gift for your house or as a gift, Anita’s Sweet Treat Crafts definitely do not disappoint.

Green Works Dish Soap

I am always in the market for trying new products.  I also find that now I have kids that we have also been trying to buy more products that are environmentally friendly.  I don’t want to leave a world for my children and my grandchildren to have to clean up.  Green Works Dish Soap is definitely fits what I am looking for.  I can honestly say that this dish soap does its job.  We’ve tried buying several brands of dish soap before, and a lot of them just do not get the dishes clean.  However, this dish soap definitely does!  It passes the stuck on kid foods (which means lots of dried on ketchup among other things).  I am also very sensitive to most detergents and dish soaps (I break out in hives after using them).  However, I had absolutely no problems with this.  It also smells nice.

To quote their site, “All Green Works natural cleaners are made using plant-based ingredients derived from coconuts, as well as essential oils. The products are formulated using biodegradable ingredients, are packaged in bottles that can be recycled and not tested on animals.”  I couldn’t say it better.  Who wouldn’t want to use a product that is both natural and is environmentally friendly in both its ingredients and packaging?
