I’ll admit it. The header of this blog (Stitching Mama) makes me jealous since I want learn how to do that. This is another blog with a great simple theme (seriously, I wish I could do one sidebar!). Not only does the design rock, but the content is awesome. You can read about how to save money on your grocery bill and taking pictures. You can definitely see the author in each one of her posts especially when you read about how she is terrified of flying! Even if you aren’t a crafter, this is a blog you should check out!

Another blog you should definitely add to your blogroll has to be Unguided Blog. The first thing that jumped out at me with this blog is its calming colors. I love the blue background and green text. I find it relaxing and enjoyable to read. This simple one sidebar theme is just awesome. It is a clean design and doesn’t make anything look cluttered. The other thing that will stand out for you is the content. You will find yourself reading the posts and wanting more. You can read about everything from acronyms to arab women finding men sexy. If you want to read a view of the world like you’ve never seen before, definitely check out the Unguided Blog.

Let me warn you, make you sure have a box of tissues handy when you check out the blog Because Someone Cares. This blog is about (to quote her site) “Every time I hear of a suffering child, my heart breaks. I must do something to help in any way I can. For now I’ll write about some of these children, and hopefully you’ll read and do whatever you can to help.” She also has other posts, but there are a lot of really good posts about children who need your help. As a mother with two little ones myself, it reminds me of how lucky my kids and I really are and breaks my heart at the same time. She even has the foundations that she talks about in her sidebar for easy reference. If you want to make a difference in this world, check out her blog and the foundations she talks about and consider donating yourself.

I am all for saving money. What woman doesn’t want to save a couple of bucks when she is shopping? Nowadays, most of us have moved our shopping online and love coupon codes. FindSavings.com is a great place to get your coupon codes to save yourself a couple of bucks. You can easily find what you are looking for. On the left sidebar, you can search for your coupon either by using the category list or the store list. On the right sidebar, you can see all the new coupons that have been added into their system. The middle column has all of your featured deals. I personally am loving the HP Home Store Offers. Our HP desktop that we have now was custom built in 2000, and it still works! However, it is a tad slow compared to my laptop (which I bought in January). I had been thinking that we should do another custom built cpu, and I just found a coupon for $400 off! They even have coupon codes for my most favorite store: Best Buy. I can definitely always spend my hard earned money there. What is my favorite part of this site? I can sign up to get an email with the latest codes. Who wouldn’t want ways to save money sitting in their email? I know I am signing up for a couple of these coupon emails with my favorite stores. If you are looking for a one stop shop for your coupons, FindSavings.com is it.

If you are in need of web hosting, you definitely need to check out Web Hosting Geeks. They have the ten best hosting sites on the web on their site, and why they think they are the best. You are able to view monthly prices and any bonus features that the host offers. This site makes it extremely easy to compare apples to apples. I’m glad to see my host, Bluehost, tops their list off. I have to agree with their five star rating. I can only stress how much I love their support staff. The other thing I like is that you can also see customer reviews and you can even put your own review on here! I should put my own review on there. If you look along their sidebar, you are able to sort the hosts out by hosting awards and reviews too. I looked at the last ten reviews and found one on IPowerWeb, that made me giggle. To quote, “Nowadays, though, the new servers are SSLLOOWW… it’s as though they’re channeling Twitter or something.” Now, that makes me really not want to use their service, and that’s the beauty of this site — you are getting real people reviews.
If you need hosting, you should definitely check out Web Hosting Geeks before you decide.

If not, what are you waiting for???? Seriously, Entrecard is one of the best ways to get traffic if you are a small to medium size blog. All you need to do is put the widget (which you can see in the sidebar) on your blog and the traffic will come. Ok, it’s almost that simple. Entrecard actually is a huge network of blogs that you can check out. People advertise on each others widgets. Plus, you can drop cards everyday (up to 300 per account). If you look in your inbox, you can actually see who drops cards on your site. There are tons of people (including myself) that go through in their inboxes and drop on everyone who is in there (way 1 to get traffic). Another thing you can do is advertise on other people’s widgets. When your ad appears on their blog, people can click your picture and be directed to your blog (way 2 to get traffic). The third way to get traffic is to be an active community member. They have a forums that you can talk on and I have gotten a ton of traffic from people clicking on me from there. After you find yourself there for a while, you will feel like you need addiction treatment. Actually, you’ll need EntreCard rehab. It is highly addictive, but well worth your time.
Let me know if you try it out!

Entrecard is one of the new ways to drive traffic to your sites. I have been using them for several months and have been happy with what I have seen so far. The best part of Entrecard is that is free. All you need to do a put a widget on your site so people can drop their cards on you. You’ll see one on the sidebar on this blog. That’s all you have to do. To effectively use the system though, you want to be dropping your cards on other blogs. You will be amazed at the number of quality blogs you’ve never seen before that is in their system. Entrecard drives approximately 50-100 more visitors daily to each of my blogs that I have it on. I can’t complain out those stats. Actually, it makes me want to send the creators of this some wine gifts. The only complaint that I have is that each blog has to associated with its own email account. If you are needing some extra traffic to your blog, this is worth trying out!
