Do you travel a lot? In this last year, I have started traveling quite a bit. I learned that my black luggage my hide dirt and wear and tear well. However, I have also learned that everyone has black luggage, and it all looks exactly the same when it is coming off the baggage claim thing at the airport. I always thought I was being tricky by tying a neon colored ribbon on my luggage. However, a lot of people are doing that now, so that has quit working. I hate to pass along this great idea, since then you all will buy them and ruin it for me. However, Luggage Charms are such a great idea that I have to pass it on. Luggage Charms are super easy to use. Just tie them (triple knot) to anything that you don’t want to lose when you are flying such as your baggage, stroller, car seats, etc. These charms come with brightly colored ribbons and tags. On the front of the tag, you are able to get whatever design you want. On the back of the tag, you are able write or affix a label with all of your identifying information in case your luggage ends up separated from you (I hate when my luggage ends up on a better trip than me). They won’t look like anything anyone else has on their bag, so you don’t have to worry about anyone accidentally grabbing you luggage. You also won’t be standing at the baggage area trying to figure out if that’s really your suitcase or not! Even if you aren’t sitting at the airport, you can also use these to show who’s suitcase belongs to who. Since the ones I have each have different ribbon colors, it was easy to know whose suitcase was whose suitcase on your visit to Green Bay this weekend.
If you do any traveling at all, I highly recommend these luggage charms. They are priced right, are fashionable, and they make your life that much easier. Now, I know you want a set of your own (each set has 4 charms in it), so I have arranged to give away 5 SETS of these, and you’ll get to pick what initial you want on each charm! How awesome is that? Another website you should check out if you are pregnant or know someone who is Bazzle Baby (actually, if you have a toddler check it out too!) They have some of the most sylish awesome products there.
Now, the first product of theirs I love is their Big Bib. This works great for babies. However, it works even better when your toddler is trying to feed themselves. That is where we are in my house, and I am always looking for great products that keep my son’s clothes clean. I love that the back of the bib is soft, so that if does touch your baby’s skin, it won’t be irritating. It is also machine washable. There are several styles that you can pick from too. It is also very absorbant (which is really awesome when your son is trying to feed himself cereal and milk). I love any product that allows me not to have to change Will’s clothing several times a day.
Now, I love the Big Bib, but I absolutely adore the Banda Bid they have. I swear it is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Like the Big Bib, the inside is soft, so if it touches your baby’s skin, you shouldn’t have an issues. I love how it is stylish yet so very functional. It is hard to keep a baby dry when they are teething, and this definitely does that. I also love how people just assume it is part of the outfit you have your kids in. This is also machine washable (which every mom has to love). You can even have this set up right under their lip and protect their chins when they are drooling the worse (and hopefully avoid soreness and chafing). I swear this is the most functional baby accessory I have ever seen.
Now, I don’t have any of their burp cloths (though they call them burpers). However, I am impressed with the quality of the two products I do have, so I know these should be just as good. They too are super stylish.
This is definitely a site you need to check out for the babies in your life and their parents.

Have you heard of Bake Me A Wish! before? Bake Me A Wish! provides freshly baked occasional cakes for all seasons and celebrations. They deliver the cakes overnight in an elegant box with a personalized gift card. Now, you cannot leave their site without being hungry. I know that I wouldn’t mind a few of those cakes being sent to my house! They all look so good. Granted, I may need to walk on a treadmill after that, but it’s all in the name of research, right?
The reason I am including them in my gift guide this year is because of what else they do. When you order a cake from them, they send an identical cake to a soldier in Iraq for their birthday. 5% of all their orders is used to assist their efforts in sending gourmet occasion cakes to soldiers overseas. Now, if you know someone over in Iraq who wouldn’t mind a gourmet birthday cake, make sure you forward their name to them. I found myself tearing up just reading all the thank yous from soldiers receiving their cakes.
If you need a birthday cake, make sure you check out Bake Me A Wish! and see if you can help send a soldier a cake!

If you have athletes in your house, you definitely need to look into getting some Cleatskins. This is one of those products that it is hard to believe no one has come up with before, because it is so genius. They are designed to fit over cleated shoes and quickly and conveniently take athletes from the field to the street. These fit over all types of cleats: baseball, soccer, football and more. I remember when I played soccer in high school, and I would have at least two pairs, if not three pairs, of shoes I brought school. I hated that after practice or a game, we always had to change into a different pair of schools. I know that this is something we will definitely be investing in when my kids get a tad older and are in sports. All of the floors in my house are real hardwood, and I will not have them marking it up. They also protecting your cleats from wear and tear, and are machine washable (that has to be a mom favorite right there!). It also creates a sealed barrier which keeps dirt and grass out of your home and car.
If you have an athlete in your family, this is the perfect Christmas gift. These come in a multitude of sizes and colors, so you should have no problem finding a Cleatskin for the favorite athlete in your life.

Often when we are in the doctor’s office, we see Highlights. For many of your who are in my age range, we all pretty much remember Highlights. It is one of the few magazines that is for children and is educational. My only issue with Highlights is that it is for old kids, and I have younger ones. When I found out that Highlights now makes High Five, I was estatic. High Five is for preschool age children, and it is a huge hit in my house. When Madison’s magazine comes, she literally will spend an hour flipping through it herself on the chair. That is even before we sit down together to do some of the activities! I love that it is right at her level. There are stories and activities that you can do with with your children. In my latest issue, we learned how to make bathtub crayons and chocolate covered bananas.
If you are needing a gift for a preschool age child or have on yourself, make sure you subscribe to High Five. It is the only magazine I have seen on the market for that age group, and you know it is quality since it is made by Highlights!
