I wrote about how we were able to sign up for this program through my sisters work place over at My Thoughts, Ideas, and Ramblings. This program is awesome. Granted, it does cost you a little every month. However, through the amount of exercise and steps you do, you are able to earn up to $400 by the end of the year! Also, it forces you to get in shape and out of plus size clothing (hopefully)!. You get a free pedometer, so you are able to get some instant gratification that what you are doing is doing something. I ended up with a little over 4,000 steps yesterday. Not bad for my first day (of course, not the 7,000 I was hoping for either!). Everybody needs a little motivation and money always works! I wish more insurance companies would step up and offer incentives like this.

I decided to use Bluehost for my hosting last January because of the many great reviews from other bloggers I know. They have not disappointed me. They have this cool live chat feature that you can use to contact them 24/7. I have used this several times and walked away happy. I never once have felt that I was being read a script (though I probably was). Tonight, my site was a white screen. All of us know how that strikes terror into our hearts. I had heard wonderful things about their phone support, so I decided to call. It was about 7 PM CST, so it was definitely off hours. The first thing that impressed me was that the phone system immediately told me what number in line I was. Granted, I was number twenty, but at least I knew where I stood. While I was holding, the system would interrupt the music to tell me that number 19, 18, and so forth to talk to a customer representative that was based in the United States. Now, I don’t want to sound mean, but I hate talking to customer service people who don’t have a good command of the English language. It just annoys me. I also hate being talked to off a script. Most of the foreign customer service people do that. It is like nails down a chalkboard for me. I like only have to explain my problem once and have the person understand me. When I got my customer service representative, he spoke perfect English and had my site back up in less than 5 minutes. I forgot to even ask why it was down, because he asked me about my toilet paper post and we started talking about that. My hosting is up for renewal in January, and I know I am sticking with Bluehost. I have always been impressed by their customer service, and I am even more so now. You can also get windows hosting facility over Internet. Modern email marketing and the affiliate resources are a big source for improving your website ranking and traffic flow. Several wireless internet service providers also for securing data are offering special backup software to customers.)

I wrote about this wonderful item over at My Thoughts, Ideas, and Ramblings too, but my new Simmons Beautyrest Mattress rocks. If you are in the market for a new mattress, definitely look at these. I did not realize how badly we needed new mattress. I was constantly waking up with a backache from our other bed. I was wondering if I need to take some diet pills to help lose some weight. However, our other mattress was about seven and a half years old. Since we have gotten the new mattress, I have not had a backache since. You literally just melt right into the mattress. It is so soft and so comfortable. I wish I was laying there right now. Oh wait, I have a laptop — I can be laying there right now!

This is my new baby. It is the Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 4000. Seriously, I think I am in love. I go through several mouses (mice?) a year, and I always find myself going back to the Microsoft versions. For some reason, a Microsoft mouse does not go through as many batteries as all of the other wireless mouses I have used. That is the number one reason why I love them. I cannot believe how quick and smooth this new mouse is. It also has a magnifier on it. You are able to but a box around an area and magnify it as big as you need. I personally don’t need this feature, but I know plenty of people who do. I bought it on sale cheap on Friday. I only bought it because of the name brand (and price), and I love it! I am seriously impressed enough that if they tried to show me some land for sale, I would consider buying it. If you are needing a new mouse, you should get this one. It is worth every cent and then some.

You may have read on My Thoughts, Ideas, and Ramblings about our trip to Arizona.  I tend to use Trip Adviser to decide what hotels we should stay at.  One of the things that annoys the heck out of me is the people on there complaining about the fact that their room doesn’t get clean for the time they are there.  THIS IS NOT A HOTEL.  Sorry, but it is seriously getting on my nerves.  A timeshare is basically a condo that you are renting for a week.  Not a hotel.  You need to pick up for yourself.  Really, it is not that difficult.  Then people complain because there is a fee.  Um, yeah.  That fee is because there is an exchange charge.  It is written in big print in the book you picked the condo out from.  The timeshare we are using is my inlaws not mine.  For some reason, I understand this better than they do.

I realize this doesn’t really fall under a review.  However, if you are going to to write a review about something, please know what you are talk about.

I already wrote about Fechr, but I wanted to give you an update since one of my sites got picked to be “fechr’d”. My Thoughts, Ideas and Ramblings was picked yesterday. It was great. I ended up with 592 hits from Fechr alone. You have got to love that nice little spike in traffic. I ended up having to get in touch with Bluehost, since midafternoon my site went down. They had to reset the server. Since my site has never gone down, I am not sure if that is a coincidence or not. Regardless, Fechr delivers on their promise of hits. I am extremely happy with it.

I blogged about this web site promotion on my other blog. If you get picked for their site of the day, expect at least 100 hits. All you need to do promote this on your site, and your name goes in to be picked for site of the day. I haven’t been picked yet, and I already got 5 hits just from my little write up I did on my other blog. Seriously, it is worth your while. It is currently free to submit your site. However, as they get bigger, they will have to charge, so get in early!!!
