Chicken Count is a game for kids 4 and up.  It doesn’t require any reading, so for us, it made it a lot easier for Madison to play.  Your goal is to collect the most chickens by the chicken coop is built.  It is pretty easy.  You draw cards.  If you get a chicken card, you keep it.  If you get a chicken coop card, you pick a chicken coop piece and place it on the coop.  If you draw a fox, you lose all your chicken cards.  When the chicken coop has been built, the person with the most chicken cards wins.  it is a pretty fast pace game, so it is great for this age group who have a short attention span.  We had lots of giggles when we played this.

Where Do I Live? is a memory game.  Your goal is to have the most pairs at the end.  You try and turn over cards and match animals to their homes.  For example, bee matches to beehives, house to a boy, and a pond to a frog.  Not only is this game fun to play, it really opens a dialogue with your kids.  You get to talk about all of these animals and their homes.  This game is for kids 4 and up and doesn’t require any reading.

These two games are winners in our house.  They are very age appropriate and have been played here quite a bit.  We had lots of fun, and you will too.

This books is all about cats.  Now, I personally am not the cat lover in this house.  However, I have two little ones who absolutely adore cats.  Needless to say, they loved this book.  The book is well illustrated with different kinds of cats on each page.  Each cat is doing its own thing and has its own saying next to it like “what canary?” and “I know you are happy to see me . . . just open the can”.  Even a non-cat lover enjoyed this book and laughed at a lot of the sayings.  They definitely got a cat’s personality down to a tee.  This works great in my house because the book is short and holds both of my kids attention.

I am not a person who uses shaving gels or creams when I shave my legs in the shower. I use good old fashioned water. I am usually in hurry, and most of the stuff out there makes me break out in hives (the joys of being allergic to life itself).  I recently tried the All Natural Shaving Oil.  Yes, that little bottle will last you close to 100 shaves.  You only use 5 – 7 drops, so you do not need a lot.  It makes a little lather.  There is a couple things I noticed after using this to shave my legs.  First, it didn’t make me break out into hives.  Second, I didn’t need to moisturize my legs after shaving.  I also think it gave me a closer shave.  I also loved that there was no mess to clean up — no extra shaving cream to wipe away.  The other awesome thing is that this is a 1/2 oz bottle, so you can make it through airport security! 

I would definitely check out Pacific Shaving Company for all your shaving needs.  If it works this good on my legs, I can only imagine how great it would work on your face or elsewhere.
