Another toy that you must get if you have kids is the Laugh & Learn: Learning Home. This came out several years ago, but is a huge hit at my house. There is just so much to play on with this! The door open and shuts and allows your children to crawl through it. The light turns on and off. There is a mail box slot and the flower spins. The window opens and closes. Up on top, you can turn the thing with the moon on it, so it shows the sun. Of course, there is a corresponding noise with all these actions. On the other side (which this picture doesn’t show), there is a little mini radio for the kids to play with. It has 4 stations and the kids can hit that and hear just music or it singing the ABCs to them. At this point at ten months, Will is really not sure what to do with this. He does play with it a little. Madison, however, is in seventh heaven. I don’t think she remembers playing with it, and she played with it a lot. At 4, she is enjoying this.
This is one of the more pricier toys to get your kids. However, it is another toy that is worth every cent, because they will play with it for years!

The Monster at the End of this Book ranks as one of my top ten books of all time for kids. I love this book as a child and was super excited when my sister bought this for my daughter. Madison and I often read this together with her giggling at all the funny ways Grover tries to get you not to turn the next page, because he is afraid of the monster at the end of the book. (Spoiler here) What Grover doesn’t realize is that he is the monster at the end of the book. The closer you get to the end, the more upset and scared he gets. It is a great book with humor and suspense and a happy ending.

This is one of Madison’s new favorite shows. It is on Toon Disney, and I swear it is one of the weirdest cartoons I have ever seen. However, Madison absolutely adores it. She actually goes around singing the theme song all the time for this show.
Pucca is the main character. I think she is in love with Garu, and she spends the entire cartoon chasing him around trying to kiss him. Garu is trying to become the ultimate ninja and like any boy does not want anything to do with Pucca. He spends a lot of time hiding from Pucca. Abya is Pucca’s friend. Bill calls him the Bruce Lee wannabee. He is always trying to do ninja moves, but something funny happens like his pants fall down. Ching is Pucca’s other best friend, and she walks around with a chicken on her head. The show is basically about these friends and their adventures together (and Pucca trying to give Garu a kiss on the check).
If you want a fairly cute cartoon for your kids to watch, this is a good one. It is cute even though mommy doesn’t really get the point of it.

We tried this today for lunch, and let me tell you, it was a big hit at my house. Madison is loving that she has fishies swimming in her soup (that’s what she told me they were doing). The fish taste great too! The goldfish are included with the other noodles. You can add goldfish crackers if you want. The soup is super easy to make. All you do is dump the soup into your pan, add in a can of water, and cook away. It took about five minutes. This soup was not any more expensive than regular chicken noodle soup, so I will definitely be buying it again.

Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment is one of those products that you must have when you have kids. Not only does it work for them, it works for you too. This is a product that is suppose to help dry skin which it works great on. However, there are a couple of extra uses for it also. My son right now is teething and drooling something fierce. The saliva is constantly running down his chin causing his skin to break out. Before he goes to bed at night, a dab a bit of this on his chin, and it clears up most of his break out by morning. I don’t know exactly why it works, but it does. This also works great on windburn on cheeks and dry skin anywhere on your body (for adults and kids). It is a little more expensive than regular lotion, but is definitely worth it.
