Have you ever went to the Build A Bear Workshop? If so, you will know that it is one of the coolest places around if you have kids. It is seriously like watching magic happen as you watch your bear being made. It is awesome that you can personalize it and everything. However, when we moved from Aurora back to Chicago, I didn’t realize that we were going to be leaving our beloved Build A Bear Workshop. I have no idea where one is now. That being said, there are a couple of ways for me to get my Build A Bear fix.
First, there is a celebrity auction going on right now! They will be auctioning off celebrity-built Build-A-Bear Workshop bears along with autographed copies of the Build-A-Bear Wii game. These bears and signed games will be on eBay’s Giving Works to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. The bears were built by celebrities like Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott, the Jonas Brothers, James Gandolfini, Melissa Joan Hart, Bonnie Hunt, Mitchel Musso, Meaghan Jette Martin and more. This would definitely be a talking point for your house!
If that isn’t enough, Wii has come to the rescue for those of use who don’t like by a Build A Bear workshop! They now have a game called Build-A-Bear Workshop® A Friend Fur All Seasons. Up to four players can play and you can name, feed, and dress your bear. You can even go on adventures with them! This game is rated E for Everyone, so you can enjoy it no matter what age you are! You can buy this game at places like Walmart, Target, and really any game retailers. However, I have a great giveaway for you! How would you like your own Build A Bear game? Did you know that a lot of what you use to make ourselves look better is actually doing the exact opposite? A lot of the time they contain toxins and preservatives (everything from synthetic fragrances to petrochemicals to formaldehyde) that are bad for you and even worse, bad for the environment. The Green Beauty Guide is a book that tries to show you the way to a natural beauty. By reading this book, you will learn how to decipher product labels without needing a masters degree and avoid the really bad chemicals (check out the toxic ingredient list). I especially learned a lot in Chapter 3 about understanding what you are paying for. They completely breakdown who all gets your money when you buy a product and how much the ingredients for said product really are. It will floor you when you realize how many middleman there really are. Not only does this book tell you what not to use, it lets you know what products are good and safe for you and environment. It has all the latest research on the best organic products including makeup, hair care, tooth care, skincare, sun protection, and baby products just to name a few. There are even some DIY recipes to try out.
This is a book all women should get their hands on. It is very scary to see what ingredients our makeup has that is doing harm to both us and environment. However, this book can also send us to a better path for makeup and other items that are green. It is definitely a good, informative read.

Back in April, I wrote a review on the That Baby CD and DVD. They both are still a huge hit in my house. The part I love most about the songs that are on there is that they aren’t kid songs. You won’t find yourself climbing the walls with some sing songy tunes. These are covers written by some of the best artists of our time: Fleetwood Mac, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Natalie Merchant, The Beatles, and The Pretenders. You will find yourself singing along with a lot of these songs. This CD is played every time Will goes to bed (naptime or nighttime). That is how great I think this is!
Now, they are sure you are going to love this DVD and CD. If you don’t, they have a money back guarantee. They also offer free replacement of scratched or damaged discs too. (This is worth its weight in gold!). For those of us who want to be enviromentally friendly, they are made in the US with recyclable materials. If you do purchase them, free shipping and handling in the US (you all know how much I adore free shipping!) Also, if you need it quickly for a baby shower or birthday that you forgot about, call them. They will figure something out to get it to you in time! How awesome is that customer service?
Now, I have kept in touch with the awesome company who makes these unique baby gifts, and the owner agreed to give away a copy of the That Baby DVD and CD away to one of my lucky readers!!! This contest will be open to all my readers. To quote the owner: “Kids around the world need to rock, so we’re open to all of them!” I am going to run it until the end of the month (July 31st) till 8 PM CST. So what do you need to do to enter?
Each one of these give you one entry:
1. Leave a comment on this post. I want to know which song you think you’ll like the best. You are able to actually listen snippets of each song right on That Baby DVD‘s site (I’ve linked the page, so you can easily find it), so that should help you make your decision. One comment only please and let me know everything you did for your entries in that comment. If you do not leave which song in your comment, your entry will not count.
2. Stumble this post. If you don’t know what Stumble Upon is, please read Lori’s post at Blogging Cents. She explains it extremely well.
3. Vote for this post on other social media sites. One extra entry for each social media site you vote for this on.
3. Subscribe to this blog using either my email or RSS feed.
For 5 additional entries, blog about this on your blog or add it to any forums you belong too. Please give me the URL, so I can verify.
Good luck to all!
UPDATE: The winner has been chosen for this giveaway. However, if you use the coupon code LISASENTME, you can get 20% off your own copies!
