Let me be honest, I wish I knew about Utterly Yours when I was pregnant. Now, I have to admit, I giggle every time I say the name of this company. However, it is a name you’ll never forget. They care products that make both mom and babies happier (which is their tagline).

One of things my sister has been complaining about is not being able to sleep on her belly. Now, I was never a belly sleeper, so this wasn’t a big issue for myself. However, my sister is a belly sleeper, so she is having a hard time sleeping at night. If you’ve been pregnant, you know how hard it is to support yourself, so you can sleep. However, the pregnancy pillow is just what you need. It adds balanced support for your back and abdomen for a comfortable night’s rest. My sister knows that I have this for her, and she is chomping at the bit to try it out (to bad I live 4 hours away). It ships to you as cube, and then opens up to two triangles. Now, I’ve seen all the pregnancy pillows on the market, and this is the smallest one I’ve seen. You don’t have to worry about it taking up all of your bed! There is also several fabric choices, so you can match it to your style! The best thing with this is that you don’t have to wrestle with your pillows trying to get comfortable anymore.

The other product they have that I think is awesome is their breast pillow.  This pillow was designed by a mom and is for breastfeeding women.  How it works is that you compress it, position it under your breast, and then release.  Now, your breast has support, and you have an extra free hand!  As a new mom who tried to breastfeed myself, you will need that extra hand!  All the products that are even remotely like this are geared towards the baby — not mom.  That is why this is so awesome.  They come in 4 sizes and one removable/washable cover (and you can buy more covers if needed).  They also are small, so you can easily put this in your purse or diaper bag, and nobody will even know it is there.  This is exactly what larger breasted women need!

A must have item for all moms is the Beverage Caddi.  It truly makes your life easier.  I use mine all the time.  How many times do you find yourself with your hands full with bags, books, kids, etc?  I am always like that, since I don’t like leaving my kids in the house by themselves while I run back outside to get the rest of our stuff from the van.  I am too worried they are going to get into something they aren’t suppose to.  I can’t tell you how many drinks have been spilled on the way into my house because either I lost my grip, or Madison decided it was too heavy and dropped it.  Let’s just say I have run out of fingers to count it on.

For me, this is my lifesaver.  If the kids and I run to McDonalds for lunch, I can easily carry Will, the food, and my drink in (Madison usually gets chocolate milk, and she can handle that on her own).  I have had no spills.  The Caddi is super easy to use and easily fits in your diaper bag or purse, so you’ll always have it with.  Actually, it is so easy to use that Madison can handle it, and she’s five.

This is a great gift for new moms, since they don’t realize how much stuff once they have the baby, they will now be carrying for the next 18 years.  (That being said, even though I am doing this post for the virtual baby shower, I do need to add that I would have loved one of these in college!  I can remember too often balancing books and drinks, and it usually didn’t end well).

I am quite use to living with hard water.  When I lived in Wisconsin and when we lived in Aurora, we had hard water.  Hard water is tough on a lot of things.  However, one of the places you can really see it is in your bathroom.  You will often find you have what looks like soap scum that you just can’t remove.  That is where CLR Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaner comes into play.  When we lived in Aurora, we used this cleaner every time we cleaned the tub.  It was the only thing that take the “scum” we had off.  I can only highly recommend it.  Now that we live in a suburb of Chicago, we don’t have that problem quite as much.  However, over the last couple of months, I have noticed that something is definitely going with our water.  When you get water out of the tap, it is very cloudy (not sure what is causing that).  I have also noticed that we are starting to get that “soap scum” again.  I decided to pull out our go to fix:  CLR Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaner.  Guess what?  It got rid of the mess in the tub yet again.  I love this product, and I can only give it high reviews.  Best of all, CLR has earned the EPA’s Designed for the Environment designation, so you know that it contains no phosphates, ammonia or bleach.
