I don’t often products that I fall in love with the first day I have them. However, it was love at first sight with this laptop cooling stand.  I spend a lot of time on my laptop, and anyone who has a laptop knows how hot they get on the bottom.  I actually have a burn mark from my laptop on my leg (and yes I am serious, I really do).  I have been trying to find something, anything that would help me out.  This cooling stand is exactly what I was looking for.  The size of the cooling stand is perfect.  It adds a small amount of height to your laptop and that’s it.  My favorite part is that the fan is run by the USB port on your laptop.  I saw many versions of these cooling stands that made you plug it in to get it to work.  Personally, I have a laptop, so I am not tethered to the wall.  Why would I want a device that makes me stuck in one spot?  The fan cools down the bottom of the laptop, and it almost feels like your legs have their own air conditioner.  If you are having laptop heating issues like I was, I highly recomment one of these cooling stands.

You always hear that the Unites States is behind in fashion, and once again it has happened. The latest rage in England is the Fit Flop. Yes, Fit Flops not flip flops. These actually launched last summer there and sold out! These shoes (I think I can call them that) are the next best thing since sliced bread. Not only are they fashionable, they help work out your legs and butt. Now, who can’t use that (and this has to be perfect excuse to buy another pair of shoes)? Since all you have to do is walk around in these to work out, it is the easiest workout you will ever do. Fitflops contain micro wobbleboard™ technology which makes this all possible. They come in five colors (black, chocolate, navy, silver, and red), so you can easy match your wardrobe. For US customers, these shoes are a bit on the pricey side ($96 including shipping). However, that is definitely cheaper than a gym membership!

LeapFrog LeapStart Learning Table is one of those toys that you have to have if you have little ones. My mom got this for Madison when she was a baby, and we are still using it with Will. Depending on what you touch on here, everything makes a different sound. I don’t think there are any wind chimes sounds. However, you can hear pretty much everything else. It sings the alphabet too. Do you see the little purple cover? That is a little spot you can put things in. We put Cheerios in there, and both kids loved it! There are two volume control settings on here too. You can also take the legs off and allow them to just play with the top. LeapStart Learning Table is one of those toys that is worth every cent.

I have to give a shout out to my chiropractor. If you live in the Chicago area and need a chiropractor, this is the place to go. Dr. Fefles is awesome. All of her staff are family members and extremely helpful. When I called to make my first appointment, they got me in that afternoon! She also fit my son in one morning when I decided that we were going to try that for his acid reflex (GERD). Since we have been seeing her, we have been able to take him off his prescription medicine. She made him so he is a happier child. Working with one’s back is not like working with fiber cable. Backs are much more flexible. When we first started going, Will could not lay straight. His legs had to be up in the air. Now, we no longer have that problem. The GERD is going to be an ongoing issue until he grows out of it. It is just a matter of making him comfortable. For myself, I went because my hands and feet were going numb after having Will. In remodeling our bathroom, Bill’s normal shaving gel grew legs and walked off. We still have not found it. Since Bill need new gel and he was being lazy, he just ran down the street to Walgreens to pick some more up. He ended up with the Walgreens brand, because it was the least expensive.

Surprisingly, he loves it! This gel gives him a closer shave than what he was using before. Due to the closer shave (I think), he no longer looks like he has a five o’clock shadow when he comes home from work. Another bonus point for me is that it smells nice. It also has made his skin much softer too.

I normally don’t buy generic, but this was one item we will buy from now on.
