What kind of cards do you send out for Christmas? Do you do a photo holiday card like you see on the left? In my family, that is exactly what I do. A lot of the people we send Christmas cards to only see my kids a couple of times a year. It is a great way to show them how much my kids have grown. I’ve done it both ways too — either just the kids or us as a family. I also love receiving cards like this, so I can see how their kids have grown over the last year.
If you are looking for a huge selection of Photo Holiday Cards, you need to go check out Tiny Prints! They truly have cards for every occasion that you could want. They have both regular cards and photo cards too. However, Tiny Prints and I are working together to offer you an awesome contest. You can win your holiday card package with matching postage (Winner to receive 50 of the selected card, 72 address labels and 60 stamps with the matching card design.). What do you have to do to win this?
1. You need to visit their Tiny Prints Holiday Photo Cards selection and tell me which holiday card has “slushy to chic” in the description. Once you have found it, put a fun and creative greeting on it.
2. After you have found the card, click “ask a friend” and enter my email lisareviewsATgmail.com. Also, click “save in favorites”
3. Then I just need you to put in the comments of this post your greeting!
I will be selecting the winner from those who pick the correct card and come up with the most creative greeting! Now, you can only win once, but you can enter as many times as you like. If you have won a Tiny Prints contest in the last 90 days, you aren’t eligible. The contest is to run from October 20, 2008 through Friday, November 7, 2008. Contestants also relinquish greeting text ownership and allow Tiny Prints to use their entries for promotional use. Stamps will be fulfilled separately from Tiny Prints order. Best of all, this contest is offered to everyone no matter where you live! I know that sometimes if you live outside of the US you miss out on a lot of these great contests. Tiny Prints understand that and has opened it up to everyone!
Good Luck!

I personally have a lot on my plate. I am a mom, a freelancer, and a blogger with 5 blogs. My free time is limited, and now that I am getting older, I am finding that my mind is not as good as it use to be. When I saw ListPlanIt, I knew this was something I could definitely use! I swear that this site has every kind of list you could ever need (my mother would be in heaven here — she loves making lists!). I have to admit that my most favorite list had to be the grocery shopping one. It allowed me to organize my shopping list, so I wouldn’t be running all over the store finding what I need. It made me categorize each item I needed, so when I was in that department, I was able to get everything in one shot. It is amazing how something so simple can save you a lot of time. The second set of lists that I love is the time management ones. Who can’t use a little help with time management? You can do everything from a year in advance to daily routine planning. I like being to write down what reviews I want to do, so I don’t miss anything. There is even a weekly planner with meals! I am in love with the meal planning lists. There are just so many lists here, and I can find a use for almost all of them! I literally could go on and on and on.
Now, can you use website that will help you organize your life? (Seriously, who can’t?) If so, I have the best giveaway for you. ListPlanIt will give the winner a Quarterly Membership to their site to check it out. Once you start using these lists, you will find it addicting. What do you need to do to win?
Each one of these things will give you one entry:
1. Leave a comment on this post. I want to know which lists you think you would use the most.

Do you recognize the two people to the left? Look very close. That is what Stephanie and Sportacus from LazyTown really look like! Hard to believe, I know! Lazytown is a show on Noggin and Nick Jr. that encourages your kids to get off their butts and be more active! When asked about the inspiration for the show, Magnus (the shows creator and Sportacus) answered:
Really, when you get down to it, LazyTown is a state of mind. We’ve all been to LazyTown. When we decide to go “veg-out” on the couch, you could say you’re “in LazyTown.” Even me. It’s a place we all go.
In a funny way, LazyTown reflects characteristics that you see in yourself or in people around you. These characteristics are universal: It’s that dynamic of opposites.
For instance, in the show, Sportacus is a driving force. He’s fit, agile, and an amazing athlete who’s patient, kind, and understanding. He encourages kids through example. He doesn’t take the low road. Conversely, his adversary, Robbie Rotten, is all about easy solutions and pulling the group down to his level. Then there’s Stephanie, the lead kid character, a wide-eyed optimist who believes she can make a real difference; while Pixel, a boy character, can conquer every video game, but when the situations are real, he has a harder time.
Just like in real life, nobody’s perfect and LazyTowners are constantly trying to find ways to understand and improve themselves. I guess that you could say that LazyTown explores the opposing forces that we encounter in our own daily lives.
How is that for teaching your children? Most moms and kids that I have talked to like this show. Magnus knows what he is talking about too — he was the Icelandic Men’s Individual Champion in Aerobic Gymnastics in 1992. In 1993, he became the Scandinavian champion, and was the European champion twice in 1994 and 1995. He was voted Athlete of the Year by Iceland in 1994. Adding superhero to that resume just makes it twice as nice (and you know is his shape he doesn’t have to worry about getting term life insurance quotes).
Now, why should you and your children watch this? It does get them off their butts. I find Madison and Will dancing and singing with the show when its on. It has taught my children that there is nothing wrong with going outside and playing. On top of the activity lessons, there are moral lessons too. Check your local schedule and see when you can watch it at your place. You won’t be disappointed!

I am a diehard Pampers fan. My kids are pee machines, and no other diaper held up better than Pampers. My favorite Pampers diapers have to be the Pampers Swaddlers. Now, I am super excited to announce that Pampers has a new Swaddlers on the market. They are called Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive. These diapers are both hypoallergenic and very gentle for your babies skin. These are definitely for the little ones with super sensitive skin or were born with diaper rash (yes, I know children who it looked like were born with diaper rash). These are super soft diapers; it would be surprised if you could find another diaper out there soft like this. The absorb away liner is awesome. It truly does keep the wetness away from the baby’s little butt. The sides of this diaper are also ultra breathable and soft and stretchy. You can actually take the sides of the diaper and blow through them and still feel your breath. Why is this important? My kids would get pricky heat rashes where the sides are with other diapers — never with pampers. I have to think the breathablility helped prevented this. Though, I have to say that I think the most awesome part of these new diapers is the what I like to call “The Pee Indicator”. Nothing is more frustrating than when you can’t tell if they went in the diaper or not. It will look like it, but not feel like, and then you end up doing a poll of the room to see if you should change your little one. Pampers Wetness Indicator (that’s what they like to call it) is a strip on the outside of the diaper that changes from yellow to blue when your baby is wet. No more guessing!
Now, Pampers was kind enough to send me a pack of the Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive diapers to giveaway to one of my lucky readers! This pack has 34 diapers in it and are a Size 2 (which is 12-18 lbs). What do you have to do win this?
Each one of these things will give you one entry:
1. Leave a comment on this post. I want to know why you would like to try these diapers.
