One of the greatest kid’s franchises out there has to be Sesame Street and their book A Perfect Picnic does not disappoint. It is short, so it keeps even the littlest ones attention.  It is about a picnic that all the Sesame Street characters were trying to enjoy and all the things that go wrong!  However, even though lots of things happened that should have ruined their picnic, they are still happy and together in the end.  The illustrations in this book are awesome.  The story is also written in verse, so that 2nd and 4th lines on each page rhyme.  It’s just an overall good kids book.

Super Fly Guy is a fun book all kids should have. It has the some of cutest illustrations as you can tell from the cover of the book. Madison likes it and giggles every time we read it. The story is about a fly called Fly Guy and a little boy called Buzz. Buzz takes Fly Guy to school and you get to read all about it. Fly Guy doesn’t land on the teak furniture. Instead, he lands in the lunch room which leads to all sorts of chaos. If you want to find out what happens from here, you’ll have to read the book.

Another great children’s book to get is My First Nursery Rhymes. The book has a lot of the classic nursery rhymes that we all loved when we were children (you know, I always wondered if Humpty Dumpty got a migraine from his fall). There is also great illustrations to go with the nursery rhymes. The pages are made from cardboard, so Will can chew and not do any damage. The pages also cannot get torn either. The book is a perfect length for a little one’s attention span too. I highly recommend this book for your kids or a present.

This book, The Little Mermaid, is not a Disney book. It is still pretty much the same story as the Disney version, but you don’t have talking animals or anything like that. Instead, the draw for this book is the foil. On the illustrations, each one has an object that is foil. For example, the first page has the crown in foil and the second page has the mermaid’s hair. It definitely looks really cool. Madison likes the book and Will likes how the pictures reflect. Again, this is another book I would recommend for your little ones!
