Pizza Party

Pizza Party is one of Madison’s favorite gifts she got for her birthday. It is a pizza that you can put the toppings on yourself, cut a piece, and serve! The pieces are held together with velcro, so it is easy for kids to cut and serve. You don’t need a safety utility knife to get the pieces apart — you just need to use the included pizza cutter. Everything is just held together with Velcro. You also get the pizza toppings which include mushrooms, peppers, and pepperoni. They also attach with Velcro. Madison can play with this for hours!

Wedding Tropics

Want to be styling? Then you definitely need to check out Wedding Tropics. If you are planning a beach wedding or just like nice shirts, this is your one stop shop. My sister order one of the wedding shirts for her husband, and he loves it.  The quality is excellent.  Shipping does take a little bit.  However, the quality is worth it.  They make your shirt especially for you.  I even found some cute dresses for Madison:

I would definitely order from this company.  They have top notch products at good prices.  They make perfect gifts for yourself or others.

Kodak Gallery

I won a contest a while from Andrew over at The BenSpark.  I actually won second place, but since I kicked some major butt at his comment end of the contest, he upped the gift certificate I won to $25.  I have been holding onto my prize until now.  I have order my Christmas cards from the Kodak Gallery in the past and was happy with their work.  Now that I had the gift certificate, I knew we were ordering from there this year.

The site is so easy to navigate.  I created our Christmas cards in less than ten minutes.  They had 8 pages of cards to choose from.  If you can’t find one you like amongst all that, there is something wrong.  Instead of paying $90 like I did last year at Sears, I think my cost was around $50.  However, they are offering a deal that if you put in JollyGifts as your coupon code, you get 20% (which ended up being around $10).  Now, if you want them sent to your house, you can choose which shipping method you want.  However, Kodak is affiliated with CVS.  For only $1.50 (or something like that), I can pick them up at CVS is less time than it would take for them to ship to me.  Now, that is a no brainer.  With my gift certificate, my Christmas cards ended up costing me eighteen dollars and some change.  Since I ordered 70 cards, that is a great deal!

If you are still looking for Christmas cards, head over to Kodak gallery.  You won’t be disappointed!

How Green Are You?

One of the best sites on the web to see how much of a carbon footprint you are leaving is GreenIQ. They have a great and easy quiz that you can take. For example, here are my results:

I was very happy to see that I am at a 54%. Both my carbon emissions and ecological footprint were taken into account to give me my score. That is better than most people. However, it also shows that there is a lot more that we need to do as a family. They have a lot of really good resources to learn how to reduce your carbon footprint. They have a list of 100 things that you can do today to help. Some of the easy things that you can do include using reusable bags at the grocery store, drink tap water, turn the faucet off when you brush your teeth, use a low flow toilet, and washing full loads of laundry. I found that I did a lot of things on the list without realizing the environmental impact. I even enjoyed the section on Kids Gifts that help make less of an impact on the environment. Another thing that you can do is when you are looking for travel deals, vacation packages , cheap cruises, or cheap travel, you check out the airlines beforehand. Some are greener than others. Not all
flight tickets nor are all the
cheapest cruises created equal.

If you are looking for ways to reduce your imprint, you should definitely check GreenIQ out and take their quiz.

Personal Creations

I have ordered from this company in the past, and I do like their offerings. They have a wide variety of products that you can order and get personalized. What I did not realize was that they charge a personalization charge of $3.25. Their shipping and handling is also based upon how much you spend verses weight.

The part of the site that I loved was that I had a customer service representative asking if I wanted to chat, and if I did, she would give me 10% off my offer. I ended up needing her help, so I was happy they approached me. I may not have used it otherwise. Other companies should take note of this practice, because I can see more sales happening.

If you need a great gift, Personal Creations is a great place to start.
