Countdown To Christmas: Manifest Your Magnificence

Something I learned over my many years is that self actualization can actually help you a lot more than you think.  If you hear something enough, you will actually start to believe it.  As an adult, this works well for self worth and losing weight (repeat 50 - 100 times in the mirror everyday that you are worth it and you can do it.  Do this with a diet and excercide routine and it’ll help!).  That being said, this can work for children too!  That is where Manifest Your Magnificence comes in.  The Manifest Your Magnificence Cd contains 64 affirmation messages for your children.  The messages encourge your children to be the best they can be.  There also is a Manifest Your Magnificence card set.  This is 64 affirmation cards that help your child’s self esteem.  Some examples are “you are a shining star” and “I make a positive difference in the world”.  Madison likes the illustrations on the cards, and we have even been able to talk about that.  With so much negativity in the world, this is an easy way to help remind your child how special and great they really are.

Weight Watchers Golden Sponge Cake

Have you tried the Weight Watchers Golden Sponge Cake yet?  If you like Twinkies, you will love these, and they are way better for you.  I’ll admit, I didn’t think it could be done.  However, I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first bite of the Weight Watchers Golden Sponge Cake and I loved it!  Now, these are not the same size as a Twinkie;  they are smaller.  However, they count as only 1 point and are under 100 calories!  I love that Weight Watchers understands that we can’t all live without sweets forever (well, I can’t).  You can easily eat just one of these, and not ruin your diet.  It definitely quenched my sweet tooth.

The Weight Watchers Golden Sponge Cake allows you to indulge without feeling guilty (well, that’s if you only eat one or two of them).  Enjoy this healthy snack the next time your sweet tooth is craving some sweetness!

Froot Loops Cereal Straws

If you just got done reading diet pill reviews, this is not a review you want to read. This doesn’t fall under anything I personally would eat on diet. However, getting my 4 year old to drink milk is like pulling teeth, so anything that makes her want to drink is a good thing.  When I saw these (and the coupon I found helped too), I thought this may be exactly what I was looking for.  The straw is about 6 inches long.  It has a crunchy cereal shell on the outside and a fruity flavor lining.  Madison (my four year old) loves them!  It has gotten her to drink more milk.  Would I buy these again?  Probably not.  There were two things that I wasn’t exactly pleased about.  First, once you open the packaging there is no way to keep the other straws fresh.  The second problem is why I probably won’t buy them again, and that is that I’d say 3/4 of the straws were broken.  You can still use them as a straw, but when you have a 2-3 inch straw, it is kinda useless.  If Kellogg’s can solve their packaging issue with this, I will definitely buy these again!

Goodnight, Thumper

A great bedtime book is Goodnight, Thumper. This book is about Thumper not being sleepy and going around the forest saying goodnight to everyone. Don’t you remember the days when we didn’t have to worry about weight loss diet pills and our biggest concern was staying awake as long as we could?  Since this is a Disney book, the illustrations are awesome.  They are so detailed and gorgeous.  This is a great book for any family that reads to their kids before bedtime.
