Sometimes you come across sites that you have to pass on, because they are just so cool. Personally, we aren’t a huge Halloween house here. My kids are little and easily scared. However, Bill has a cousin who loves Halloween. She loves it so much that she actually got married on that date! It was a dress up ball, and we all rented costumes! I know that she would love, love, love the site I found.
One of the best Halloween invitations sites has to be Invitation Consultants. Normally, most the Halloween invitations I have ever seen are boring. However, as you can see by the invitation that I included in this post, these are definitely NOT boring. I love the detail on all of the invitations. The pictures are crisp and scary. I also am floored by the amount of invitations they have to choose from. Most sites only give you a couple to choose from. I quit counting at 30 for here. They have awesome invitations even if you don’t such a graphic one too!
Invitation Consultants can definitely solve all of your halloween invitation needs. I’m not even havinga party, and I even want to order some!

Several years ago (Bill and I weren’t even married yet), we were invited to a wedding for his cousins. It was Halloween weekend, and the theme was to dress like we liked in the Renaissance area. I wish we would have known about The Renaissance Store back then. We needed renaissance costumes with all the props without spending an arm and leg since we were college. I have to admit that it was one of the coolest weddings we have been too.
The Renaissance Store carries armor, books, boots, costumes, accessories, gifts, videos, jewelry, etc. As you can tell, they carry anything you would want or need. I know that there are people who do renaissance fairs on the weekend who would completely love this shop! Definitely check this shop out for all your Renaissance needs.

Giving Thanks: A Native American Good Morning Message is a book that was given to me by cousin after her sister (who was also my cousin died). I was very close to this cousin, and this book helped in the grieving process. My cousin also put an article that was printed in the local paper about my cousin inside with the message that “if it’s irreplaceable, don’t take it for granted”.
This book is about giving thanks. However, it is not giving thanks for the material things like Asanti grills. Instead, it is about giving thanks for the wind, for the animals, for the moon, and things like that. It truly makes you take a step back, and look at the simple things in your life that you are truly thankful. This is children’s book that even us adults can learn from.

What is your favorite charity? Mine is the March of Dimes. This review will be biased due to the fact that I have used their research to benefit my family, so I cannot be objective at all.
I had three pregnancies with one ending in a miscarriage. Both my pregnancies that ended with children, I had problems with preterm labor. I believe that due to research that they have done, I was able to carry both pregnancies to term even though I started with preterm labor quite early with both. Every woman who takes prenatal vitamins has benefited from their research too. Part of their research focuses on birth defects. Without them, we would not know that taking folic acid prevents birth defects. The other reason that this charity is near and dear to my heart is that my cousin Val’s two kids may not be here without their research. Both her children were born premature. They have an awesome forum on their site that other mothers can access. There are tons of questions and answers on there for you. It is an awesome community.
If you are ever looking for a charity to give to, I know I would appreciate a donation to the March of Dimes. I have to thank Navtej Kohli for sponsoring this review. You can visit his blog and read about his favorite charity.

I love this company. The breast pump I have is a Medela Pump, and it is awesome. We bought it with Madison, and I am currently using it with Will. I also borrowed it out to Bill’s cousin and my cousin. It still works just like the day we bought it (which is about 3 1/2 years ago). They also have a ton of other items you can buy. We own Medela pumping supplies, bottles, etc.
My post is about their customer service though. When we realized that I was going to have to pump exclusively again, I wanted to get some sort of hands free device. I found one on their site. Since I could not figure out how to order online, I called. The person I talked to was great and the hand free device was only $11.50! Granted, there isn’t much to it, but there is not anything else out there like it. What impressed me the most was how fast it got here. I had my items within 2 days of ordering it!
I highly recommend ordering from this company. Good products, great customer service, and great shipping times!!!
