I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! The best part of this game is that it doesn’t come with the calories! Sky High Scoops Colorful Count & Seek Electronic Game will allow for hours of fun without the mess of real ice cream!

Your goal is stack all your ice cream scoops on top of the bowl and not knock the stack over! It sounds a lot easier than it is! The dish tells you how many scoops you can place, what color they should be, etc. This game definitely reinforces color recognition, number sense, counting and fine motor skills (stacking). This is for ages 3 and up and 2-5 players. However, Will likes to just sit on the floor and stack the ice cream over and over and over again. This game can definitely keep your kids busy even if they never turn the bowl on!

Meeow and the pots and pans

Cooking and pets — how can you go wrong with that combination? Meeow and the pots and pans is a book about a cat in the kitchen who likes to make things. Are we making dinner? Or are we making a band? That’s what this book is about!

Why do I love this book? It’s great for both my kids. Madison, my 6 yr old, is learning to read. This book is simple enough that she can read most of it. My 2 yr old, Will, is speech delayed. The illustrations in this book are excellent, so we can use this book to help his speech. He is able to look at the picture and tell me what everything is. We then are able to talk about what Meeow is going to do next or what his friends are bringing to the party.

Meeow and the pots and pans is just a really cute book for any little kids you know. As a mom, I liked it. (Plus, the front cover has a velvet cat on it which my kids love to pet!).

eebee’s Mix & Mash

From the time our kids are little, they are wanting to be in the kitchen with us. eebee’s Mix & Mash is a great book for you for great adventures in your kitchen. It is a board book, so even the littlest ones can’t wreck it (It’s for kids months and up). Will likes to go through this book and point out all the babies to us. The other cool part is that eebee’s Mix & Mash is actually a baby food cookbook. It has 12 recipes in there for you to make for your kids that they will love. Every recipe is easy enough that your little one can actually help you make it. There is everything from tof-ee finger food to blueb-eebee soup in here.

eebee’s Mix & Mash is a great book for both little ones and adults too!

Glade Holiday Candles

There are certain scents I associate with the holiday time. For example, if I smell pumpkin pie, I think Thanksgiving. If I smell pine needles, I think Christmas. Glade must know this, so they came out with some great holiday candles. Some of the yummy (and I mean yummy flavors) Glade has this year include Bayberry Spice, Homemade Gingerbread, Hollyberry Wreath, Peppermint Crush, French Vanilla, and Apple Cinnamon. There is nothing better than walking into your house and smelling gingerbread or cinnamon. It’s a great way to set the scene for some holiday parties and just enjoying the holiday overall.
