I recently got to check out Hallmarks new card lines, and I am literally crying right now.  These cards aren’t sad.  Instead, they are some of the funniest cards I ever read.  Seriously.  I have tears rolling down my face from laughing so hard.  I have to say this card is my favorite:

Whoever said “there’s no use crying over spilled milk” obviously never pumped six ounces then accidentally dumped it.

As a mom who had to pump, I’ve soooo been there. That’s a card I’ll be sending to my sister who is a new mom. The other card I absolutely adore is the one on the inside that says:

How can a kid who falls out of trees and crashes his bike on purpose think shampoo hurts?

That is sooo Madison. Hallmark, you’ve really hit the nail on the head with this series of cards. They are all hilarious and true! They are also great to send out to our fellow friends to let them know we are there for them, and they are in our thoughts.

The Hallmark encouragement for kids cards help parents give their kids an extra pat on the back for  “everyday” moments – whether it’s the first day of school, taking a test or trying out for a team. The cards have both humor and heartfelt messages.   Some of the cards allow you to record your own message for your kids!

Madison has asked me before what do girls get if boys get baseball cards. I finally have an answer to that question.  I recently learned about Bella Sara and their trading cards for girls.  They are now in their ninth series in this brand, so I’ll admit I am a little behind in the times.  However, I can’t say how refreshing that there is finally cards for girls to collect (sorry, Madison just isn’t into baseball no matter how many baseball games her Dad has made her watch).

In each pack of cards, there is a Bella Sara Ticket Card with one code that can be used online.  When they enter the code online, a whole new world opens up for them and they also get a digital card pack!  (How many baseball cards offer features like this?).  Online, you are able to unlock horses, horseshoes, castle rooms, and prizes.  Eventually, the codes will lead you to the Bella Sara Adventures.  Currently though, your daughters can be involved in royalty themed activities, jigsaw puzzles, downloadable wallpapers, printable activities, etc.

Nobody does cards like Hallmark.  I know that for every special occasion that we get Hallmark cards.  Hallmark’s Valentine’s Day card collection this year does not disappoint.  They have a card for everyone you could want.  However, let me tell you about the ones that my family will be getting this year.  Hallmark now has recordable cards with music.  My kids are in seventh heaven.  They loved the music cards in the past, and this is more than amazing for them.  I also loved how easy it was for Madison to record a message.  We did 5 cards in less than 5 minutes.  Madison would record her message and then dance to the music.  She definitely had to check and make sure each card recorded at least five times and dance around my living room.  I definitely should have video taped it!  Now, Hallmark made a video and asked what would you say to your Valentine:

This video shows how easy it is to use the cards.  Now, wouldn’t you like to get one of these?  I know that my family will be completely surprised and love them (I know I did!).  It’s a great way to stay connected with your loved ones even if you are miles apart.
