The Munchables

munchablesI love fun multiplayer games and this fits that!  The Munchables are hungry creatures looking for things to eat.  The goal is to eat as many enemies as possible and grow as big as you can (you grow by eating, but so do your enemies).  You can eat everything from chocolate to vegetables to fruit.  The names of the characters in this game will make you laugh:  Eggplanter, Space Shroom and Rice Baller (just to name a few).  You can play in regular time, reverse, or time attack mode, so this game never gets boring.  You can even accessorize your character!  The controls are simple enough for Madison (my five year old).  A feature that I really like is that once you’ve beaten the game, it actually shows you all the acorns (which you need to accessorize) you missed!

The Munchables is great for young and old alike!  We will spend countless hours eating your vegetable, laughing, and having fun!

Hidden Valley Veggie Adventure Games

Is it bad when mom gets addicted to playing a kids game online?  If so, make sure your kids check out the Hidden Valley Veggie Adventure Games when you aren’t around. I found once you start playing, well you can’t stop until you play all 3 games! These games teach your kids to love and eat their veggies. I had Madison (who is 5) try these out, and she gave them 2 thumbs up. Actually, she said “sweet” and “awesome” a lot while she was playing. That is always a good sign. Veggie Adventures is a three-part vegetable adventure that begins with growing vegetables on the farm and ends with serving and sharing vegetables with friends. The games are easy to play, so you won’t have the normal frustration little ones can have when the game is too advanced. You also learn great tips and vegetable facts. At the end of each stage, players receive a printable certificate to commemorate their success.

Over 60% of parents play games online with their children and Veggie Adventures is one you should definitely check out with them.

Didi & Ditto Preschool “Mother Nature’s Visit”

didiDidi & Ditto Preschool Mother Natural Visit was designed for the 2-4 age group.  Madison just turned 5 in January, and I have been having her play this game.  She loves it!

This is one of the few games on the market for the younger age set.  However, it is seriously geared for them.   This is one of the few games we have that Madison does not need any help playing at all.  The graphics of this are awesome.  It is like watching a cartoon while you are playing this game.  The game keeps your children completely immersed in the story.  There is  story component to this game, and they also play games.  Each last a perfect amount of time, so your child isn’t getting lost and bored with it.  Madison has one of the shortest attention spans ever, and she likes this game.  If the player guesses wrong on a question, it gives them hints and lets them keep picking until they get it right.  I found that Madison wasn’t getting frustrated at all even if she was getting the answer wrong.  She plays this game over and over, so she truly like it.

This is a great game for the younger age set.  It will hold their attention span, and they will enjoy playing it.  I highly recommend it.
