I have to give a shout out to my chiropractor. If you live in the Chicago area and need a chiropractor, this is the place to go. Dr. Fefles is awesome. All of her staff are family members and extremely helpful. When I called to make my first appointment, they got me in that afternoon! She also fit my son in one morning when I decided that we were going to try that for his acid reflex (GERD). Since we have been seeing her, we have been able to take him off his prescription medicine. She made him so he is a happier child. Working with one’s back is not like working with fiber cable. Backs are much more flexible. When we first started going, Will could not lay straight. His legs had to be up in the air. Now, we no longer have that problem. The GERD is going to be an ongoing issue until he grows out of it. It is just a matter of making him comfortable. For myself, I went because my hands and feet were going numb after having Will. I just had an appointment at Lenscrafters last night. I have to say they were pretty much equal to any other place I have gone for my eye exams. However, there are two things that really stick out for me. First, you can schedule your own appointment online! They email you to remind you that you have an appointment too. They also email you after your appointment. I love it! The other thing that I like was that I wanted Night & Day contacts. Normally, nobody carries these, and I have to wait and order them. They had samples on hand for me to put in plus they had boxes! The doctor was very nice though a little overly conservative. If you need an eye exam, this is a place to definitely check out.

I woke up with a nasty toothache this morning and immediately started freaking out. I am a chauffeur most days of the week (well, it feels like it between preschool and the doctor’s appointment). I do not have time to run to the dentist if my filling falls out. Madison has dentist appointment tomorrow for a cleaning, but I do not want to bump her out of her spot. Remember, this is only a temporary dental repair. You do have to go to the dentist to get your teeth fixed eventually. However, this will alleviate a lot of the embarrassment and pain until you can be seen.
