Virtual Baby Shower: Belly Cast Kit Review and Giveaway!

This contest is over. The winner is Courtney.

blueoval_create_can1One of the most unique baby show gifts I have seen out there is the Original Belly Works Belly Cast Kit.  With this, you can make a cast of your pregnant belly!  What an awesome keepsake!  It is truly one of those unique gifts that any mom would cherish.  In the kit, there is 5 rolls of casting material, vaseline, rubber gloves, a drop cloth and a bucket.  Oh, yeah — instructions too.  The best thing — there is no mixing involved to make this work.  There is even a video on their site that shows you exactly how to do this.  This casting takes about 30 minutes from start to finish.  Now, after the casting dries, you can decorate the cast! You may decide afterwards that you want to get a fiberglass finish on your casting.  The fiberglass will prevent chipping, mold, breaking, and cracking.  Now, if you are not sure you are artisitcally inclined, they even have artists you can work with!  Best of all, everything on their site has free shipping (I love free shipping!).

I personally love that this kit comes in what looks like a paint can.  It’ll make the expectant mom do a double take, and everyone will want to know what this gift is about.   Now, if you are pregnant or know someone who is, I’ve got one of these kits to giveaway.  Here’s what you need to do:

Leave a comment on this entry. Check out the OBW website and tell me which belly cast design you like best. (Scroll down to the bottom of the page.  It’ll then show you “view more”.  Click that and you can see all the awesome designs.)

Hi and thanks for the great chance to preserve the memory of a lifetime. I would love for you to know that I have met the woman of my dreams and we would love a littleone of our own. A baby that would be created out of nothing but love and the dreams we both have shared independently, but now together. We were searching for our entire lives for each other.

We would love to someday show our baby just what she looked liked from the outside.

Thanks again for the awesome chance
