Virtual Baby Shower: SoftBaby Review and Giveaway
This contest has ended. The winner is Valerie M! Congrats!
Would you want to eat the moisturizer that you use every day? Check out the ingredient lists of your favorite moisturizer and let me know what you think. I am guessing no. The scary thing is that if you have your children (like my 20 month old who still likes to put everything into his mouth including my fingers), you are doing exactly that. If you are using a moisturizer on your children and they turn around and suck their fingers, they’ve done it too! How would you like a moisturizer that is all natural, fragrence free, and if you really want, can be eaten too?
SoftBaby is the answer for you then. It contains:
NO fragrance
NO preservatives
NO essential oils
NO nut oils
NO soy oil
NO wheat oil
NO botanicals
NO aloe vera
NO alcohols
NO petroleum by-products
It contains ONLY edible plant oils and their antioxidant complex of natural vitamins C and E. Now, baby’s skin absorbs pretty much everything you do put on them, so you can easily get some unwanted side effects with some of the products out there. Not only is this great for baby and mom, I found it great for a person who has a lot of allergies. I personally need to watch what I use or I break out in hives. Since this lotion is about as natural as you can get, I found it was great for my skin! I also loved it, because it didn’t make my skin feel greasy either. Another added benefit for new nursing moms is that you can safely use this on your sore nipples. This is also great for a family like mine who have have fragrance issues. I can use this and my husband can still breath! (Yes, we are the household of the allergy prone).
Granted, I am including this as part of my baby shower guide, but I can highly recommend this to everyone to use. Their guarantee is excellent too, so you have nothing to lose by giving them a try. All you need to do is
Since I know you all want to try this, I have 2 bottles of SoftBaby to giveaway! Here’s what you need to do:

I think it’s awesome that she has a WHAT TO DO IF YOU’RE DIAGNOSED WITH BREAST CANCER section on her page. When people have been through a situation like that before, and “know the ropes” so to speak, it can be a life line for others who are just starting such a journey.

Here’s what I learned:
WHAT’S UP WITH THE UGLY BOTTLE?
Our ugly bottle keeps your oil fresher.
Softress formulates only with whole, edible plant oils. Fresh plant oils are nutritional powerhouses for your body and your skin. They’re full of important vitamins and essential fatty acids (EFAs) that are indispensible to good health, both inside and outside. But they’re very sensitive to both light and air, which can oxidize good elements in the oils and turn them rancid and actually harmful.
Our ugly bottle is air-tight and light-tight. It keeps Softress body oils fresh for a long time because light and air can’t get in. And we don’t stop there. Softress body oils are protected with a potent antioxidant blend of vitamin C and vitamin E that not only keeps our oils safe, it’s great for your skin. That’s why Softress body oils feel smoother and keep your skin softer than any other brand.
[Reply]
March 18th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
After reading all about their products, I learned their ugly bottle is air-tight and light-tight! So the product stays fresh and works longer!

Softress Deep Moisture Winter Formula includes sunflower, avocado, olive and evening primrose oils, all rich sources of natural vitamins A, D and E and essential fatty acids necessary for optimal skin health. And the best part is that it is completely chemical free unlike products like Eucerin or Cetaphil who say they are good for your skin but contain harmful chemicals.
