Forever Stamps
Did you know that the stamp rate increased today? I had to mail the invitations for Will’s birthday party out, and I didn’t have any forever stamps. Instead, I had a bunch of 41 cent stamps. Nowadays though, I think the Forever Stamp is really your best buy. Why? Once you buy a Forever Stamp, you can always use it even if the rates go up. I didn’t buy these the last time I needed stamps, so I got to spend my afternoon with two kids in the post office buying penny stamps. What a waste of time! Needless to say, I bought 100 Forever Stamps!

Thanks for the heads up! I mail a lot of stuff and it’s unfortunate that I procrastinated buying stamps last weekend! Ack.

I need to pick some of those up. I ended up giving all of my stamps to my mom since I knew the price was going up. I don’t have many bills to mail right now so I just don’t use them, so the forever stamp would be perfect for me.

Yes, it did go up. The price on stamps is probably the slowest thing rising in rates but it still hurts. We did buy the forever stamps too. But they will run out in a couple of months.
Thanks for the heads up!!

the last time i bought stamps they were forever stamps simply because the post office was out of anything else. i like the idea as a consumer but simply don’t understand how it works as they cost the same!

Yes, I did know this and fortunately, I had some forever stamps. This way, it’s good we won’t have to fuss around with 1 centers anymore, BUT I bet the post office will be raising the rates more frequently since they won’t have to be printing new stamps anymore.
