Walgreens
This is probably going to end up as more of a rant than a review of Walgreens. I say that because the Walgreens by my house is no where near as the one I am going to tell you about.
I have had several runins with this particular Walgreens and none of them have been good. By my house, only one of the Walgreens has the weird medications and medical supplies. It also is the only one that stays open for 24 hours. We have dropped off Will’s Prevacid prescription there (since it is the only Walgreens who will take it!). They would tell us it was done, so I would take the kids to go get it. I then would get there, and I would have to come back the next day to get it (since it is formulated and they only do it once a day). Well, why did you call me then? After incidents like that, I am not to keen about using that Walgreens.
I had to run there yesterday to fill a prescription for Will and Madison. My doctor’s office called ahead of time to make sure that all I would have to do is run in, get the nebulizer, and run out. I get to Walgreens, and they tell me it is going to take about an hour. Needless to say, I was not happy. Especially, since I could have had the nebulizer delivered to my house. I was trying to be helpful by going to pick it up since I had to drop off the other two scripts anyway. This gets better. I went back TWO hours later, and they still didn’t have my stuff ready. I had to stand there and wait. The best part? The nebulizer was just a box they had to go in back and hand me! Needless to say, I am not happy with their service there. If I had a choice, I would definitely not use this Walgreens ever again.
